In their last fixture Augsburg celebrated their second win for the 2022/23 season. Enrico Maassen’s team paid a visit to Werder Bremen where they achieved a difficult 1-0 win. The only goal was scored in the second half when Augsburg’s Bosnian striker Ermedin Demirovic put the ball in the net. He used an assist provided by Mergim Berisha. It was a well-needed win for the team.

The champion Bayern Munich does not look in its greatest shape at the moment. The Bavarians are in a run of three consecutive draws in the league which leads to some pressure in the club. Right now Bayern are third in the standings with 12 points – two points behind the surprising leader Union Berlin.

In their last match Bayern made their third draw for the season. Julian Nagelsmann’s boys hosted Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena but only got a point after a 2-2 draw. Mathys Tel and Jamal Musiala scored for the hosts, but it was all they got. Meanwhile Sadio Mane entered the pitch from the bench as Bayern were expecting a tough game against Barcelona in the Champions League.
