Soccer predictions that win for France – Germany

It’s time for one of the biggest games in the group stage of the Euro 2020 this summer. We are heading to the Allianz Arena in Munich, where world champions France will face Germany. Stay with us and our online soccer predictions that win because it’s time for us to preview this match. Let’s go!

This is arguably the most difficult group at the competition this year. The draw put three significant teams in the same company – France, Germany, and Portugal. You can imagine what a fight for qualification we should expect here. It’s going to be some massive thing to watch.

Being the reigning world champions, France is the favorite to win this group. Not just because of their title from the 2018 World Cup but also because of the potential they have. France currently has a team filled with superstars more impressive than any other team at the Euro. The manager Didier Deschamps is a lucky man indeed to have the chance to work with these players.

Real Madrid’s superstar Karim Benzema is France’s newest weapon in the race for the European title. The striker was given another chance to play for his country by the manager Didier Deschamps. For a few years, Deschamps refused to call Benzema because of a public scandal the player got himself into. But now Deschamps decided to give him another chance – because everybody deserves a second chance, right?

Most likely, Benzema will be a starter in France’s team for the Euro 2020. According to most pundits, Deschamps will use him alongside Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann in the attack. This is a fearsome trio that would give many problems to the opposition’s defense.

In midfield, France will rely on the energy of N’Golo Kante and the quality of Paul Pogba. Kante just won the Champions League for the first time, and he was impressive in the final game against Manchester City. His work rate remains incredible, and he’s arguably one of the best midfielders in the game today. His form at the Euro is going to be a massive factor for France’s performance. Meanwhile, Paul Pogba’s role would be to help him in midfield and show his own class when it comes to assisting and scoring goals.

In defense, Didier Deschamps has a lot of quality to choose from as well. Raphael Varane, Presnel Kimpembe, Jules Kounde, Kurt Zouma, and Clement Lenglet are all options for the center-back position the head coach can choose from. Meanwhile, Benjamin Pavard, Lukas Hernandez, Lucas Digne and Leo Dubois can be used on the flanks.

One of Didier Deschamps’ surprising decisions was not calling the wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga for the Euro. Just 18-years old, Rennes’ midfielder is regarded as one of the finest talents in the world today. We all expected to see him in France’s squad for the competition, but Deschamps decided to leave him home. Was this the right decision to make? Only time will tell.

After losing the final in 2008, Germany is still trying to win the European Championship for the first time since their triumph in 1996. The Mannschaft remains a global superpower in football despite their failure at the 2018 World Cup when they could not pass the group stage. Many pundits thought that Joachim Low would be stripped of his duties as a manager, but he got one last chance to lead Germany at a big competition. The World Cup-winning coach will leave the job after Euro 2020.

Germany is aware that they must step up their game after the disastrous performance in Russia three years ago. The manager Joachim Low didn’t have any other choice but to make some changes to the team. He left some notable names home, but at the same time, still decided to call veterans like Mats Hummels and Thomas Muller. It’s not clear if Low thinks about using them in his starting eleven, but their experience could be helpful to the team.

One of Germany’s biggest strengths is in midfield, where Joachim Low can use some fantastic players. Joshua Kimmich and Toni Kroos look untouchable in the starting eleven, while Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan made a solid season in England, which gives him hope of playing regularly this summer. At the same time, Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka is another reliable option for the midfield area as he’s one of the Bavarians’ most consistent players. Low will have some trouble deciding which players to leave on the bench.

It’s a similar situation in the attack where Joachim Low has the luck to choose from some fantastic players. The most logical thing is to see Timo Werner leading the attack while the coach must select the players to support him upfront. He could give this job to Werner’s teammate at Chelsea Kai Havertz, while Bayern Munich’s atomic wingers Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane could give the German team some fantastic pace. At the same time, Thomas Muller could be entering the pitch from the bench and use his experience to influence the games.

One of the surprises in Joachim Low’s selection is the 18-years old teenager Jamal Musiala. He’s one of the wonderkids of German football and played 26 Bundesliga games for Bayern Munich last season. He’s still very raw, and obviously, he won’t be a key player for Germany at the Euro, but for him, it’s a fantastic achievement to be called for the Euro. This is going to be a tremendous experience for him.

That’s the online soccer predictions that win for the Euro 2020 clash of the titans between France and Germany from Group F. For both teams, it will be vital to start their participation at the European Championship with a positive result. This group is very challenging as Portugal is also part of it, so that each point could be decisive. The draw could probably be a strategic result for both sides, but we are sure neither France nor Germany would be playing to share the points here. It’s not a part of their nature to do so.
